Transvaginal Ultrasound Probe

Transvaginal ultrasound probe: wireless convex plus transvaginal plus cardiac probes described for pelvic imaging.

Probes described for gynaecological imaging

Transvaginal ultrasound probes are designed for gynaecological examinations, where the transducer is used to image the pelvic organs. The two models on this page combine a convex probe, a transvaginal probe and a cardiac probe in one device, and the table below gives their published specifications. The source page describes the probes as generating images of internal structures including the bladder, uterus, fallopian tubes, cervix and ovaries, and as used for pelvic ultrasound imaging assessment in situations such as abnormal uterine bleeding, cysts, tumours, fibroids and pelvic pain. Those are the source page's descriptions of intended use, presented here as descriptions, not as guarantees of diagnostic outcome for any individual patient.

The two models differ in elements, size, weight, transvaginal frequency and depth, connection method, battery and waterproof rating. The C10QT has more elements and a larger battery in a larger housing, while the C10RC is smaller and lighter, adds a USB connection, and has a higher waterproof rating. A buyer should choose on those published differences and on the examination depth they need, rather than on the shared probe-type description alone. The application page for obstetrics and gynaecology gives the clinical background in general terms, while this page is the buying page for the probes themselves.

What is not on this page

A further model name appears on the source gynaecology page, the C10LC, described as a micro-convex plus linear prostate biopsy probe. It is not included in the table above, because its described use is prostate biopsy, which does not belong in a gynaecological product page, and because no specification table is published for it. Its name appears only in the accessories page, in the biopsy needle guide list, where it is listed by name without invented specifications. A buyer who needs a prostate biopsy probe should ask for its specification sheet separately.
